Beacon recently hosted 18 of the brightest and best at our inaugural “Resident Implant Symposium” at the ZimVie Institute in Palm Beach, Fla. Our partner Dr. Chris Chafin of South Florida Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery detailed his journey from residency to building a thriving implant practice, crediting the career enabling professional development, peer mentorship and robust support services he’s leveraged since joining Beacon. Dr. Chafin’s innate drive for success coupled with Beacon resources and support from ZimVie allowed him to ramp his practice at a pace far exceeding the typical resident starting or joining a practice.
A morning of business skills content was followed by a hands-on implant clinic where Dr. Chafin led the group through the latest techniques for best patient outcomes for a full day of learning, networking, and considering options for transition into private practice.
